Worked footprint example

On a Standard 48 × 40 inch pallet footprint of 122 × 102 cm, a 40 × 30 cm carton fits 9 cartons per layer in the simple orientation used by the pallet calculator. Rotating the carton can change the count; height, weight, overhang, crush strength, and interlocking are not included.

What to confirm with the warehouse

Ask for the permitted overall height, maximum pallet weight, overhang tolerance, and whether the carrier requires a particular footprint. Treat this page as a footprint estimate, not a load-plan approval.
